A number of special care programs are also offered through The Children's Hospital. Among the programs are:

Child Life Program to lessen the trauma of illness for young patients and their loved ones
Dorothy B. Hersh Regional Child Protection Center for child abuse prevention
For KEEPS (Kids Embraced and Empowered through Psychological Services) for emotionally disturbed children
